A friend of mine recently found a dead stingray on the shores of Rhode Island. Its eyes were still intact, as was most of its body. In typical male 'Crocodile Hunter' fashion, he had to hold it up for a snapshot. Afterward, he described it as 'slimy and spiky' at the same time.

That weirded me out on an unprecedented level.
