I recently got a fortune cookie that I think has changed my life.

It has made me rethink just about EVERYTHING. I do mean everything. I have sat down over the last few weeks and thought about my relationship, my friendships, my employment and volunteerism in this national program, my friends and family, my feelings, everything - from that which forms the very foundation of my life to the way that I organize my kitchen drawers.

It took a fortune cookie to change everything. I have shaped up, firmed up my moral code, and am stepping out to become the person I've always wanted.

It just took a cookie to tell me that, and enough strength to realize that this cookie was telling me something I'd been waiting to hear, whether I knew it or not.

The cookie said,

"The biggest lies are those that you tell yourself."
