phew, what an active week.

I was out half of Thursday and all of Friday sick some mystery illness that makes me hoarse and my throat hurt, which in turn creates coughing jags. otherwise I feel fine, it's just silly. I did get out of going to this mansion party to mingle, which was nice because I REALLY was not up for it, and I've been there before, and the novelty wears off quickly (believe it or not).

Friday night, I had already told Tim to purchase tickets to this comedian's show down in Boston, so although I felt like crap I ended up going because I'm a cheapo Polack and if I'm paying for it, I'm going. it was totally the right choice. I felt a lot better after I ate some pizza and sat down for the show, which was hilarious. before and after we saw a groups of street performers (guys who juggle on ladders, a guy escaping from a straitjacket, street dancers, street drummers, etc.) where at some point I managed to sit in what appears to be motor oil.

the comedian, Bob Marley (known as Greenly from Boondock Saints) was hilarious. lots of new england-isms that were hilarious to me, and lots of family descriptions I could relate to. Tim and I then went to Fire and Ice over by Harvard, had a drink and watched the Sox game... a good end to a good night.

Saturday I drove to Clinton, and then Tim drove us to Worcester to see Andy's wiffleball tournament. It was fun and I had a good time sitting around and rooting Andy on. he lost (on a sacrifice fly, what crap) and then Tim and I headed back to Clinton, got my car and fixed his turtle tank, then we were convinced to head back to NH.

once we got to Merrimack, we got into the Rock'n Ribfest for free courtesy of Schindler and proceeded to wait in lines, eat some pork and then some more pork, eat some fried oreos (delicious) and harass the underage girls at the fried oreo stand, etc. I took the bus back to my car around 11 and proceeded to come home, strip down, and fall into a dead sleep until 4:30 am when I was PARCHED and required water immediately.

this morning Jess called and I met her and Tim at the Airport Diner, then played a round of mini-golf (I lost bad) and had some batting cages action (I am rusty as all hell). we then went back over the Anheuser-Busch plant and the ribfest, where Schindler and relatives once again fed us and gave us beverages, and we had a great time. we helped them pack up, then came home.

up next: potentially more batting cages with Andy on Monday, getting my hurrr did on Tuesday and maybe my softball game at WestWind, tattoo consultation on Wednesday, packing and laundry on Thursday (and maybe I will call Lara, I haven't hung out with her in forever! I think we require another girls' night out), and heading to Dallas for a week on Friday.

my life just doesn't stop.
